Eversham man found with gaping wound

A 50-year-old man of Eversham Village, Corentyne was admitted a patient at the New Amsterdam Hospital after he was found with a gaping wound to his neck around 7 am yesterday.

Carlyle Rose was found lying in a pool of blood at the corner of the public road in front of a rum shop in the village.

Reports are that residents found Rose in a semi-conscious state. They immediately contacted his relatives who rushed to the hospital.

The man who is said to be of unsound mind, lived alone but would be seen walking all over.
