GPHC now managing Kitty Health Centre

The management of the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPHC) has taken control of all operations of the Kitty Health Centre on Sandy Babb Street, Kitty with effect from November 1.

A release from the hospital’s Public Relations Office said yesterday that doctors will be available between the hours of 8:00am to 4:30pm  from Monday to Friday, but the health centre will be closed on weekends and public holidays.

The management said also that the centre will maintain the same efficiency and quality in its numerous services which include general outpatient clinics – dressings, maternal and child health clinics, pre and post-natal clinics, family planning, infant and pre-school clinics and chronic diseases clinics – diabetes and hypertension.

Persons can call the Public Relations Office of the GPHC on tel. 227-8234  if any further information is required;  or they can visit the Clients Relations Office (former Complaints Desk) if they wish to lodge any complaint pertaining to the services at the centre, the release added.
