An elderly man was on Monday night found hanging from a tree in the Unity, Mahaica Backdam and the police have launched an investigation into the incident.
According to a police release, Jagnauth Singh age 73 of Unity, Mahaica, East Coast Demerara was found around 2030 hours.
The body is at the Lyken’s Funeral home awaiting a post-mortem examination.
