The Lucky Dollar store yesterday presented the first batch of winners in its Santa Sleigh Promotion with their prizes.
At its Regent Street store, Seema Moonsammy winner of a Mabe Fridge said she was very happy with her win. “Thank God and the management of Lucky Dollar,” a grinning Moonsammy said. The Sophia woman said that she had brought a television set from the store. Dianne Adams was also the winner of a fridge.
Felisha Roberts and Dianne Adams each won Premium microwaves while Rawena Burrowes won an Oster Steam Iron. Winners of $10,000 Bounty food hampers were Sharon Clarke, Kwasie Davis, Leonard Perreira.
According to Chain Manager of Lucky Dollar, Lyndon Gomes, of the 10 winners, two shopped at the Corriverton branch, two from the Vreed-en-Hoop branch and the remaining six from the Regent Street branch.
The promotion runs until December 31 and in upcoming drawings two 55” Panasonic Flat screen Television will be up for grabs. Customers who shop $30,000 or more at any of the Lucky Dollar branches get a chance to win prizes and hampers, Gomes said.
