T&T Seniors play Guyana on December 30

The Trinidad and Tobago senior team which is bound for the regional T20 cricket series will open play in the T&T Cricket Board (TTCB) T20 Festival against the T&T ‘A’ team at Guaracara Park on December 28.

This will mark the first game of the series, which will see two other teams in Guyana and the T&T Academy.

This match will begin at 3.30 pm and will be followed by a clash between Guyana the defending regional T20 champions and the T&T ‘A’ team – which is packed with players who did not make the senior team. This match gets going at 7.15 pm.

On day two, Guyana will come up against the Academy team from 3.30 pm and then the T&T Seniors will play against the T&T ‘A’ team from 7.15 pm. On the final day of the tournament, T&T ‘A’ will battle the Academy at 2.25 pm, while the clash of the tournament between T&T Seniors and Guyana will begin at 6 pm.

The winner of the tournament will take away $20,000, while the runners-up will claim $10,000. The winner of the tournament will be decided on a round-robin basis.
