President Desi Bouterse said this yesterday when he was presented with the book ‘Historical Notes in the Service of the Coup of February 25’ by its author Eugene van der San. The author, who has worked closely with Bouterse since 1978, emphasizes that the book is just a testimony of his impressions of the time before the coup, and that he did not strive for scientific value.
