‘Cobra’ gets another date

Tyrone Rowe called ‘Cobra’ was for the third time given another date when he made another appearance before the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

When the matter was called before acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry, he was informed that he has to return to court on April 2.

Meanwhile, no details of developments or lack thereof in the case were provided.

When the matter was called on January 25, the court was told by Prosecutor Lionel Harvey that statements had still not been filed.

Rowe has been jointly charged along with Aman Lalchand for the offence of robbery under arms which alleges that on March 1 at Georgetown, being armed with a gun, they robbed Troy Collins of a quantity of gold and other items to the tune of $1.4M.

The duo was charged along with Dwayne Critchlow for whom an arrest warrant has been issued as he is still at large.
