Harding pledges to support Granger

Former participant in the PNCR presidential candidate race Dr. Faith Harding yesterday pledged unreserved support to victor retired Brigadier David Granger.

Granger captured the most votes to become the PNCR’s presidential candidate for the national polls constitutionally due later this year. He was followed closely by former CARICOM economist Carl Greenidge, who was trailed by PNCR Vice-Chairman, Basil Williams, Harding and attorney James Bond.

In a press release issued yesterday, Harding congratulated Granger on his victory and promised her unreserved support to both him and PNCR in the upcoming general elections. She also extended congratulations to the other participants in the presidential candidate race and commended them for being apart of “this historic moment in the life of the PNCR and Guyana.”

She added, “There is no question that the discussions among the candidates served to reinvigorate the party, and to bring the most pressing national issues to the forefront of our political discourse.”
