Wrist-bands were the principal means of ID in the PNCR ballot on Saturday

Reference Demerara Waves’ email release of February 28, 2011, the following quote: “Only delegates with picture identification, accompanied by their party membership cards, were issued with delegate cards. The ballots were marked by all five of the candidates” is not quite accurate.
For purposes of the poll the actuality was that all delegates had to deposit their serialised wrist-bands before uplifting a ballot. The wrist-band was the principal means of identification.
