The police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at about 8.10 pm yesterday at Shivrattan Molding Establishment, LBI, ECD, during which manager Haymant Singh, 30 years, of Triumph, ECD and two other employees were attacked and robbed by four men, three of whom were armed with handguns.
Police say that investigations revealed that the perpetrators entered the premises and held the security guard and the three employees at gunpoint. They then took away a total of $300,000, a quantity of personal jewellery and two cell phones from their victims and escaped in a waiting motor vehicle.
