The ninth annual Carlton Wheelers Cycle Club Track Meet which was scheduled to pedal off on Sunday at the Everest Cricket Club Ground, was postponed due to the sodden state of the track caused by inclement weather.
National cycling coach and main organizer of the event Hassan Mohamed said that if the weather permits, the event will now pedal off at the same venue this Sunday November, 13 at 12:30 hrs.
The event will cater for riders in the Senior, Junior, BMX, Veteran, Upright, and Juvenile categories.
There will also be races for Categories One, Two, Three, and Four riders.
The twenty-nine races carded for the event are expected to be highly competitive as the meet is scheduled to attract most of Guyana’s leading riders.
