The Youth Coalition for Transformation (YCT) is calling on all organisations, citizens and NGOs to support its cause as the group undertakes a ‘Resolution March’ in the city today starting at the Square of the Revolution.
The event begins at 3pm with a march through several city streets and ends at the Stabroek Market Square where a meeting will be held at 5pm.
Several issues will be addressed by the group, including women empowerment, calls for better housing programmes, clarification on youth eligibility, discrimination in the workplace, lack of jobs access to government contracts as well as the removal of GECOM’s chairman Dr Steve Surujbally and Chief Election Officer, Gocool Boodoo.
