The Mahaica, Mahaicony, Abary-Agricultural Development Authority says that all water sporting activities viz the use of jet skis, large high-speed craft etc are prohibited with immediate effect in the Mahaica River until further notice.
The decision was conveyed by means of an advertisement in today’s newspapers. No reason for the decision was given.
