A man who reportedly threatened a woman with a gun was on Monday arrested after an unlicensed pistol was found at his house.
Police said in a press release that around 7:45pm, the police responded to a report made by a woman of threats involving the use of a firearm by a man at Farm Squatting Area, East Bank Demerara. Later, a search was conducted on a house, during which an unlicensed .25 pistol was found. The man is in custody.
