Nine students who reside at the Hinterland Students’ dormitory at Liliendaal, on the East Coast of Demerara (ECD), were on Sunday evening rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) after suffering suspected food poisoning.
This newspaper was told that the students fell ill after consuming dinner that evening and were subsequently taken to the GPH for treatment. They were treated and sent away.
