Gift Centre celebrates 20 years with ‘Scratch and Win’ promotion

In celebrating 20 years of excellent service, The Gift Centre (TGC) last Friday launched  a joint ‘Scratch  and Win’ promotion with its sister company, Shoe Source (SS).

The event which commenced at 7:00pm was held in the Essequibo Hall at the Pegasus Hotel.

The TGC scratch and win promotion is expected to last until December 5, allowing lucky customers to have an  opportunity to win fabulous prices.

According to the management of  The Gift Centre with any purchase of $5000 or more at the TGC or the SS, customers will receive a scratch card which entitles them to enter the grand drawing for the following prizes: $300,000 at The Gift Centre, $200,000 at Shoe Source, and $100,000 at John Lewis Styles.

Speaking at the launching,  Doris Lewis, director and founder of The Gift Centre,  stated that the main objective of the business is to meet customers’ satisfaction by placing significant emphasis on customer care. She said further that the business will continue to assist in community activities through support of education and youth development, medical aid, and disaster relief, among other areas.

Crystal Lewis, Marketing Manager of TGC, said that the company is noted for voluntary service to society and ethical standards in business. And  Marco Lewis, founder of TGC, was also acknowledged for his outstanding efforts in making the business an asset in serving Guyana.

She noted that the business which was first established on August 26, 1991 was ravaged by fire, forcing its relocation in Hadfield Street, and since then it continues to provide quality goods and service. The management and staff of TGC also expressed gratitude to their loyal customers for their patronage, noting that the ‘Scratch  and Win’ promotion is a way of saying “thank you” to all of their customers.
