Minibus operator denies threatening language charge

A minibus operator who allegedly made use of threatening language to another was yesterday placed on $20,000 bail after he appeared before acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.

It is alleged that on September 15 at Longden Street, Georgetown, Alister Theire made use of threatening behaviour to Christopher Williams.

The accused of Lot 71 D’Urban Street pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to him and he  was placed on a bond to keep the peace pending the termination of the matter.

The matter will be called again on September 26 at Court Ten.
