Flamingo Football Club on Saturday sealed a spot in the semi-final of the Len’s Craft Optical/Sunburst Under-15 league when the defeated Renaissance 5-0 at the Georgetown Football Club ground.
The win moved Flamingo to nine points from their completed quota of four matches.
Flamingo’s Alpha Mc Coy netted a helmet trick in his team’s triumph netting in the 12th, 31st, 44th and 57th minutes.
In other results Pele defeated BK International Western Tigers by a similar 5-0 score with Kevin Andrews netting a double.
Andrews netted in the 10 and 58th minutes while Rondel Dover, 25th, Quincy Lawrence, 40th and Wayne Murray, 52nd, were the other goal scorers.Pele who have three wins with one more game to play head Group B with nine points.
The final group matches takes place today with
Renaissance coming up against Riddim Squad from 09:00hrs to be followed by a match-up between Conquerors and Santos.
The semi-finals are billed to take place tomorrow.
