Monedderlust recorded their first win in the KFC Elite League following a run of seven consecutive losses, defeating Anns Grove 2-1 last evening at the National Training Centre in Providence.

Atlyn Brown broke the deadlock in the 27th minute for Monedderlust. The aforesaid goal proved to be the only conversion of the first half. Anns Grove would level proceedings in the 68th minute as Shaquan Joseph etched his name on the scorer’s sheet.

However, Stephon Moore recorded what proved to be the game winner, as he made his presence felt in the 80th minute. The event continues tomorrow at the same venue.
