The Guyana Police Force (GPF) recorded their fifth consecutive win in the KFC Elite League, arresting Anns Grove 3-1 on Tuesday evening at the National Training Centre, Providence.
Neron Barrow initially gave the lawmen the lead in the fourth minute. However, the East Coast Demerara outfit equalised in the form of Shaquan Joseph in the 24th minute.
The score remained unchanged heading into the halftime interval. However, the lawmen fired two unanswered shots in the second half to secure the result. The two conversions occurred in the final minutes of the contest.
Junior Redmon made his presence felt in the 83rd minute to restore GPF’s initial advantage. Tyrone Delph then sealed the result as he found the back of the net in the 90th+2 minute.
