Mings donates to School of the Nations programme for Tiger Bay

For the past two years more than 100 persons from the Tiger Bay community have been

participating in activities at School of the Nations in the afternoons including literacy classes, a mentoring   programme, parent education classes, learning to play steel pan, computer classes and sports programmes.

Mings Products & Services Ltd (MPS), which has long been involved in service to the Tiger Bay

Community,  yesterday made a contribution of $1,000,000 towards the programme, as an investment in the future of the young people of the community.

This was done at a simple ceremony at the school.
