Detective continues testimony at Neesa Gopaul PI

Detective Assistant Superintendent Hugh Jessamy continued his testimony yesterday when the Preliminary Inquiry (PI) into the murder of 16-year-old Neesa Lalita Gopaul was heard.

Bibi Sharima Gopaul and Jarvis Small both appeared in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court when the PI continued before acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry. The allegation against the couple, both of 13 Public Road Leonora, West Coast Demerara, is that between September 24 and October 2 at Madewini, Linden/Soesdyke Highway, they murdered the teenager.

Jessamy is stationed at the Ruimveldt Police Station and attached to the Criminal Investigation Department.
The matter will be called again on January 17.
