Destroyers, Wolf Warriors among winners in GFSCA Hadi’s cricket

Bad weather affected the latest round of the Hadi’s nationwide male and female softball tournament organized by the Guyana Floodlights Softball Cricket Association (GFSCA) scheduled for Sunday at various venues around the country.

However, there were some matches completed and among last Sunday’s winners were Destroyers, Wolf Warriors, Trophy Stall `B’ and Renegade.

Results of Sunday’s completed matches follow.
At Education ground: Destroyers defeated Tornado by 39 runs. Destroyers 149 for 7 off 15 overs, Rown Tappin 52. Dave Singh 3 for 25. Tornado 110 for 7 off 15 overs. Vivakanan Ramsaywack 3 for 15 and Herbie Sentle 3 for 20.

Wolf Warriors defeated Omesh X1 by 123 runs. Wolf Warriors 164 for 8 off 15 overs; Riaz Karim and Amerith Raj scored 38 runs each while Diaram Persaud chipped in with an unbeaten 32.
Asif Ahmad bagged 4 for 21.

Trophy Stall `B’ defeated Herstelling by 6 wickets. Herstelling 124 all out off 15 overs; Erasco King 30. Trophy Stall `B’ 125 for 5 off 14 overs; Dhapaul Dindiyal 44. Devindra Deosarran 3 for 26. Rennie Khan 3 for 32.

Renegade defeated P & B Electrical by 7 wickets. P & B Electrical 167 for 6 off 15 overs; A. Singh 45. R. Khan 33.
Renegade in reply, 168 for 3 off 13.4 overs; Mohan Ramdeen 53 not out. Vishal Motilall 35.
Omesh X1 defeated Trappers by 7 wickets. Trappers 124 for 7 off 15 overs; Sunildat Ramjit 64.
Omesh XI, in reply, 125 for 3; Asif Bacchus 33 not out. Alleyne 32.

And, in the final match at that ground, Park Rangers gained a walkover from East Bankers.
At the Cyril Potter College ground, Bedi Masters defeated Defenders by two wickets.
Defenders 69 all out off 20.1 overs; L. Rambarose 27. Wallack Joseph 4 for 18. Jagdesh Persaud 3 for 11. Bedi Masters in reply, 70 for 9 off 17.4 overs; Kenrick Persaud 3 for 18. S. Mohamed 3 for 13.

Farm defeated Road Runner by 138 runs. Farm 182 for 3 off 15 overs; Doodnauth Dhanraj, 82. Avinash Sookdeo, 31. Road Runner 44 all out; R. Sarabjet 4 for 11. S. Mohamed 3 for 7.

Mahaica Masters defeated  Uitvlugt Warriors by 151 runs. Mahaica Masters 197 for 10 off 25 overs. Vincent Pompey 42. Rex Ramkaran 33. R. Narine 4 for 25. S. Sookram 3 for 20. Uitvlugt Warriors 46 all out. V. Pompey 3 for 11.

Trophy Stall `A’ defeated Rockaway by 8 runs. Trophy Stall `A’ 148 for 9 off 15 overs; S. Ramnauth 42 not out. Mark Harold 40. R. Boodram 3 for 30. Rockaway 140 for 8 off 15 overs; K. Bisoondyal 44. J. Deosarran 3 for 5.
Young Guns defeated P & P Vipers. P & P Vipers 72. Young Guns 73. Z. Alli 32.

Bedi Ramjeewan X1 defeated Cena XI by 16 runs. Bedi XI 69 for 9 off 15 over. Cena XI, 53 all out.
