Boy, 5, injured in accident with minibus

A five-year-old child has been admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital with injuries to the head, hands and legs after he was hit by a minibus at around 5.30 yesterday afternoon.

Injured is Keoma Taitt of 7 New Market Street, North Cummingsburg, Georgetown. According to the child’s relatives, the boy is listed as being in stable condition. The child is a pupil of Starters Nursery School.

They said that the driver of the minibus is in custody at the Brickdam Police Station assisting with investigations into the accident.
