Handyman granted bail on break and enter charge

Earle Williams was on Friday placed on $75,000 bail by acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry on charges of breaking and entering and stealing.

The court heard that some time between March 30 and 31, at Robb Street Williams broke and entered the property of Nazim Khan and stole articles to the value of $57,000.

Police prosecutor Corporal Denise Booker said that on March 30 Khan secured his bond and on the following day he went to make checks and found the accused and another man in his bond.

Bail was granted and he was told to return to court on April 30.
