(Trinidad Express) Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar was on Monday admitted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Bridgetown, Barbados.
Acting Prime Minister Jack Warner called an urgent media conference at the Office of the Prime Minister in St Clair to make a statement on Persad-Bissessar’s condition.
Top specialists at the hospital in Barbados, including Dr Haresh Thani treated her, the Barbados Nation reported.
Tests were conducted and came back inconclusive, the hospital’s communications specialist Carolyn Williams-Gayle told the Nation. Persad-Bissessar later discharged herself. She returned to Trinidad yesterday.
