Steady Sarwan fails to stop Foxes slide

GRACE ROAD, England,  CMC – Ramnaresh Sarwan top-scored with 39 but Leicestershire’s losing slide in the Twenty20 Championship continued on Wednesday with a narrow four-run defeat to Yorkshire.

The out-of-favour West Indies right-hander hit a four and a six off 33 balls as the Foxes, chasing 152 for victory, ended 149 for nine off their 20 overs
With Leicestershire struggling at 79 for four in the 12th over, Sarwan combined with Wayne White (22) in a 56-run, fifth wicket stand off 38 balls, that put the hosts in sight of victory.
