No sitting of magistrate’s courts on July 6

The Supreme Court of Judicature has advised that there will be no sitting of the Magistrates’ Courts in Essequibo, Demerara and Berbice on Friday July 6, 2012.

Several notices posted around the building of the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court yesterday informed that the one-day closure is due to “Magistrates professional training obligations.”

Members of the legal profession and the general public are asked to take note.
