Bare Root children performed well at the Grade Six Assessment

  Dear Editor,

Bare Root, a once troubled community located at the back of Bachelor’s Adventure is once again congratulating its children for another splendid performance at this year’s National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA).

Ever since Candacy Prince and Donavan Sullivan lifted the bar in 2005 and 2006 gaining places at Annandale Secondary and President’s College respectively, the community has been seeing steady passes for top secondary schools.

This year is no exception. Young Shemar McGarrel gained a place at St Stanislaus College. Shemar’s performance has taken the baton from Donavan Sullivan who has held the highest score since 2006. Other outstanding performances came from Donella Sullivan (Donavan Sullivan) who secured a place at President’s College while her twin sister Donecia gained a place at Annandale Secondary followed by Alicia Henderson who attained Bladen Hall Multilateral.

Donavan Sullivan, who has been a mentor and parent-teacher, urges the children to continue to study since education is pivotal to their development.

Successful students of Bare Root ought to be recognized and congratulated for their outstanding success in the academic field.

Yours faithfully,
Don Sullivan
