The Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) has clarified that the Chest Clinic, which is located in the hospital compound, is managed by the Ministry of Health and not by the GPHC.
Chief Executive Officer Michael Khan yesterday expressed his disapproval with an article published in this newspaper yesterday, which recounted the rude treatment meted out to reporters by a staff member of the Chest Clinic. The article had stated that pamphlets on TB were distributed by the hospital, when it should have said the Chest Clinic.
