A dredge capsized in the Cuyuni River on Sunday, killing three Brazilians, the police said yesterday.
According to a police press release, at about 04:00 hrs on Sunday, a dredge capsized in the Cuyuni River resulting in the deaths of Gildacio De Souza, 25; Francisco Da Silva Alves, 28; and Claudemir Tizato, 27.
Police said that the bodies are at the Bartica Hospital mortuary. Investigations are in progress.
