Did not post a facebook question to the TV panel on corruption

Dear Editor,

I was having a quiet beer at the corner shop on the evening of Sunday, August 19, when my cellular phone started to ring continuously. I decided to answer and received numerous calls asking if I posted a question via facebook to a panel discussing corruption with reference to the Amaila Falls project on Channel 11. Of course I was shocked, as I was at a shop and not online at that time, and very few people have the name Anand Sanasie.

I would like to make it pellucidly clear that while I welcome such an initiative, since it is my personal opinion that corruption in Guyana has reached syndicated levels, I did not post a question to the panel via telephone or any other means including the social media.

After making contact with one of the members on the panel, I am convinced that the live discussion on corruption had its own level of corruption.

I humbly request a proper verification of the origin of the questions posted should be done.

Yours faithfully,
Anand Sanasie
