Dear Editor,
On behalf of the under-mentioned petitioners and residents (list provided) of the Profit/Rising Sun community of Belladrum, Eldorado, Paradise, West Coast Berbice we are seeking an urgent solution to the following problems:
1. Breach in sea defences
2. Drainage
3. Pipelines, etc
4. Streets, farming
Frustration resulting in a lack of confidence in the RDC and other local bodies after numerous complaints, has led this community to seek urgent interaction at the highest level, as the salt water which has accumulated in yards has a resulted in social and economic hardship. Mr Hubert Whinfield and Mr Julian David have been appointed representatives to facilitate the interaction.
