‘Delirious’ man missing for two months

Steffon Francis, a miner, has been missing from his Parfaite Harmonie, West Bank Demerara home for over two months.

His mother, Maylene Prince, told Stabroek News that her son became delirious after he was infected with malaria when he was working in the interior.

She said that Francis, 21, was under treatment at the time he went missing and he was being watched closely for signs of delirium.

She said that on October 20, she left Francis home alone and when she returned home later that evening from work she found him gone. She said that she alerted the Brickdam Police Station and also the Bartica Police Station because her son had resided in that area for a short time.

She explained that her son was in a delirious state the last time she saw him and he needed medical treatment. She is asking if anyone knows his whereabouts that they contact his family at 688-3898, 643-4717 or the nearest police station.
