National ruggers to hold trial game today

The national men’s Sevens rugby will  hold a trial game today at 10:00 am at the Providence National Stadium prior to announcing the team for the prestigious HSBC Sevens World Series in Hong Kong that will kick off on March 23 to 25

The team is expected to hold its final trial game prior to its departure on March 12 for Chula Vista, San Diego, where the team will be encamped with Rugby USA.

Trinidad and Tobago-based Ronald Mayers and Richard Staglon will arrive in Guyana on March 9 to join the team for its final practice before the team’s departure from Guyana.

Australia-based Kevin Mc Kenzie and UK-based Rupert Giles will join the team in San Diego. The team will depart Chula Vista, San Diego, for Hong Kong on March 17.
