The Guyana Floodlight Softball Cricket Association (GFSCA) second male/female softball tournament will begin next Sunday throughout the country.
The tournament, which is being played in three categories, male Open, female Open and male 40 years and over and will be sponsored by Mike’s Pharmacy, Survival, Trophy Stall, Ariel Enterprise, Petama Enterprise and Motor Trend.
The male Open will be a 15-overs-a-side affair while the female Open will be contested over 10 overs. The male 40 years and and over tournament will be a 25-overs-a-side affair.
The winning teams will receive $100,000 and a trophy with $50,000 and a trophy going to the runner up teams.
The finals will take place on December 2.
