The Guyana United Sadr Islamic Anjuman (GUSIA) extends to the Muslim Community and Guyana, greetings on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi or Youman Nabi. This day observes the advent of the Prophet Muhammad and is a day which fills the hearts of mankind with great joy.
Generations of nations are preserved by his teachings, GUSIA said. Muhammad as a prophet of God lived a simple yet distinguished life. He advocated for the poor and needy and was a friend to the downtrodden. He commanded respect by his honesty, fairness and compassion for his followers and enemies alike.
The GUSIA join with Muslims throughout the world to remind of the virtues of this great leader and to echo the feelings of love, dedication and commitment to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad. They joined to express joy on this special occasion and prayed for continued personal spiritual growth from the life of Prophet Muhammad.
