Banks DIH feted over 600 senior citizens at a luncheon held on Sunday at Thirst Park.
“We salute you for your hard work and dedication,” Chairman and Managing Director Clifford Reis said in his feature address to the gathering which included the company’s pensioners. Reis also reported that the company had a good year in 2012; due to “the support of employees, consumers and other stakeholders.”
In a press release the company said the four-hour programme was attended by residents and members of the Uncle Eddie’s Home, Holy Family, Salvation Army Hostels, Archer’s Home, David Rose Centre, Red Cross Society, Gentle Women’s Home, Guyana Institute for the Blind, St Thomas Moore Home, St Vincent de Paul Women’s Home, New Nazareth Home, the Guyana Associa-tion for the Visually Impaired, Chase Indigent Home and other organisations.
