The police say they are probing the murder of miner George Cardario, 51 years, of Middle Mazaruni, which occurred at about 0330h yesterday at Middle Mazaruni.
Police say that investigations have revealed that Cardario and another man had an argument during which he was fatally stabbed to his abdomen.
The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
