Taken from Grades 1 to 6, 35 of the school’s 93 pupils were given the opportunity to explore some places of interest in East Berbice and discuss their importance to the community.

Among the places visited were Dave’s Television Station CH 8, the Mission Chapel Congregational Church (one of the oldest churches in the Ancient County) in New Amsterdam, the University of Guyana Tain Campus and the Molsen Creek Ferry Stelling on the Corentyne.

The pupils, accompanied by three teachers, concluded their visit by having lunch at Number 63 Beach, after which they enjoyed a game of softball cricket.
