Snapped for NCC next weekend

Darren Mc Almont’s first full-length play, Snapped, will be staged at the National Cultural Centre (NCC) on June 7 and 8.

According to a press release, the play—starring Henry Rodney, Sonia Yarde, Clemencio Goddette, Nathaya Whaul, and Gerard Gilkes—deals with issues such as infidelity, incest and sexual abuse. It tells the story of “the struggles and great determination of an ambitious young woman in her final year at university … distracted by her seven month pregnancy…”

The Bean Entertainment Production is filled with music, the release added, including the “torch song from the musical Dream Girls, “And I am Telling You I’m Not Going”.
