A woman who admitted to having eight grammes of cannabis in her possession was yesterday sentenced to three years imprisonment.
Dorrett Ruethoff pleaded guilty to the June 2 charge which stated that she had eight grammes of cannabis in her possession.
The sentence was handed down by Magistrate Leron Daly at the Providence Magistrates’ Court.
At the time of her apprehension by the police, Ruethoff was travelling in a minibus along the East Bank Public Road.
