The ATV is valued about $2.3M, GINA reported. She also urged the Council to design a cost recovery plan, and also asked to use the vehicle in a responsible manner and to ensure that it is not misused.
One of the issues raised in the meeting was the provision of funding for community projects. Sukhai explained that 27 hinterland communities were selected to receive up to $5M for their Community Development Plans (CDPs) under the Amerindian Development Fund (ADF) of the LCDS.
