I moved to the McDoom Middle Street area a couple of years ago, and am still living there although this has become a crime-prone area. No bread, water, etc, vehicles come to serve the shop without running the risk of being robbed, etc.
There is a gang of 15-17-18 year olds who carry out broad daylight robberies; no one is safe, they sit on some horse cart that is parked at the end of the street on the southern side so they can see the police outpost above the post office.
Any police vehicle that comes through the street, they then run through the many alleys or else they go to the many houses where they stay during the day and night with their booty, etc.
These men have many associates who put them up and are on the look out, and there are females who collect a drawback. Many of the residents have to lock up early and live in fear.
The police as well as the villagers know who these men are; they have uncles, aunts, etc, in the police force. We the villagers are crying for any assistance that the government, the opposition, those in authority can give to us; this is like an old cowboy picture where a town is afraid of the bad men.
