Dear Editor,
The recent announcement that rice production has surpassed last year’s production by over 100,000 tonnes and keeps increasing on a yearly basis can be attributed to the competent management of Guyana’s rice industry by the PPP/C Government and also to our rice farmers.
These rice farmers are becoming skilled farmers leading to increased production.
So let us also say a big thank you of appreciation to our rice farmers and good luck with next year’s crop.
