Taylor seeking a return to the international stage

KINGSTON, Jamaica,  CMC- Former West Indies fast bowler Jerome Taylor is seeking a return to the international stage following his inclusion in a 44-member Jamaica squad to start preparation for the upcoming regional Four-day and Super 50 tournaments.

Taylor, who last represented the West Indies in June 2010 against South Africa in Trinidad and Tobago, is making a return to the national set-up after a two-year absence.
He has been plagued by a recurring back injury and last played for Jamaica against Trinidad in March 2011 in a Four-day encounter.
Taylor’s last internationally recognised match was in August last year where he turned out for the Ruhuna Royals in the Bangladesh Premier League T20.
He has also participated in national tournaments, including the just-concluded Jamaica Premier League T20, where he represented Mandeville Thunders.
