On December 15 and 16, 2013, First Lady Deolatchmee Ramotar and members of the First Lady’s Foundation for the Promotion of the Positive Family visited the villages of Kwatmang, Rewa, Crashwater and Apoteri in the North Rupununi. During these visits Christmas parties were held and over 350 children were entertained with face painting, games, carol singing and Santa Claus. The children were also presented with gifts and goody bags. Photo shows the First Lady with one of the children.
