The incident occurred at Cotton Tree Village where the child was stripped of $2,000. Gobin was remanded to prison and is scheduled to return to court on October 28 for report.
Police Prosecutor, Corporal Orin Joseph objected to bail on the grounds that Gobin who has no fixed place of abode is known to the police.
