Toucan hosts seminar on social media

A seminar that promises informative discussions on the world of social media and online advertising, including how to convert fans to sales; how to effectively build brand awareness; best practices; and how to launch a successful online ad campaign, is billed for tomorrow morning at the Pegasus Hotel.

The breakfast seminar is being hosted by Toucan Limited, which describes itself as an Interactive advertising agency, that is now officially entering the Guyanese market. It is incorporated in Dubai and has offices in India, Kenya and the Caribbean, according to a press release.

The company offers advice on internet advertising and marketing, online consumer engagement, web design and publishing, search engine optimisation and overall campaign management to businesses in emerging markets.

According to the release, it has a unique perspective on how to among other things, engage with a diverse online audience.

Toucan handles social media for clients such as Caribbean Airlines, Digicel and all of Courts’ regional markets. It said that its clients throughout the Caribbean, from Jamaica to Belize, St Lucia and Dominica, are offered cutting-edge online and mobile apps, the latest web design technology, customized memes and animations, and the highest standards of social media management.
