Fruta Conquerors conquered Houston Stars by three goals to nil Friday night to advance to the next round of the sixth NAMILCO One Love football tournament at the Tucville Playfield.

In the second match BV United defeated Western Tigers 1-0.

Conquerors’ Dwayne Lawrence netted two goals, the first in the 20th minute and second in the 60th minute of the second half with a bicycle kick within the 18-yard box.

Delon Williams closed out the tie with his goal 26 minutes later when he received a pass from his teammate on the left flank and slipped it neatly into the back of the net.

The Tigers were unable roar against BV United in the feature match of the evening. The first and only goal in this match was slotted in by Kelvin Williams in the first minute.

BV defended their citadel successfully until the end of the 90 minutes regulation denying all goal access attempts by the Tigers who were not fierce enough for their opponents.

Play continues tonight at the same venue from 6pm with Santos FC and Netrockers clashing in the first game and Campton opposing Pele from 8pm in the night’s feature.
